Detailed Description

A comprehensive 6 hour interactive workshop for independent and suplementary prescribers to support revalidation, policy updates and governance awareness. This session includes; overview of RPS Competency Framework and prescribing domains. Clinical governanc, accountability and risk management. Medico-legal and ethical responsibilities in prescribing practice. Polypharmacypharmacology and medication review. Practice considerations (NMC, HCPC, RCP, indemnity, CQC). Accessing evidenced- based resources and peer support. This workshop is delivered by the postgraduate team, focused on maintaining safe, effective and professional prescribing standards. A certificate of attendance provided for revalidation.
