In the Summer School of Geomatics, an intensive international education course presenting the scope of geomatics (geospatial engineering) is prepared for international students. The school's program will include technologies such as geodesy, surveying, photogrammetry, laser scanning (both terrestrial and airborne UAV), and geoinformatics issues in the data processing. In the first week, classes will be conducted remotely. In the second week, they will be conducted at the Training and Research Center of the Warsaw University of Technology in Józefoslaw near Warsaw. This is a 2 week course.
The first week will be online classes to prepare you for the field exercises, this will include understanding of how to process geospatial data in geographic information systems, basic surveying and a introduction to geodesy and geomatics and geomatics algorithms in Python. The second weel will be onsite classes in Jozefoslaw adn Warsaw where there will be invited guest lectures in geomatics, preparation class for field surveying, field measurements in GNSS-RTK, total station, UAV photogrammetry, terrestrial laser scanning, postprocessing of data and using python script. This scolarship is worth 900Euros and will cover your travel and accommodation.
