The Faculty of Education, Health and Community is a dynamic, creative and collaborative faculty leading the sector in professional and applied education, research and scholarship. Students within the Faculty engage with cutting-edge educational programmes informed by our research and real-world experience. All of our programmes of study offer placement opportunities. We work closely with a wide range of public and private sector organisations to ensure our students have the knowledge, skills and experience to meet the demands of the increasingly challenging health, education and community sectors.
A short English as an Additional Language (EAL) teaching placement for student teachers on secondary postgraduate Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes, such as the PGCE and PGDE. This week is an enhancement for student teachers to develop expertise and confidence when working with EAL learners. The cost of the placement is £500, paid in 5 installments.
Installment 1 covers the bulk of the flights and is non-returnable, even if you subsequently withdraw from the trip.
