Students who graduated from LJMU after September 1992 can purchase a replacement certificate if their original has either been destroyed or lost. For certificates prior to September 1992 please email email@example.com for further information.
The certificate which the University issues as proof of the conferment of an award is a unique and valuable document. Under no circumstances will the University issue additional copies of replacements to any applicant holding an original certificate. Replacement certificates have precisely the same standing as the original which they replace, are produced in the format currently in use and will not be a facsimile copy of the original.
A charge of £50 will be made for this service by LJMU. Following the completion of the online payment, applicants will receive confirmation via an email. The email will include a manual application form, which you must print off and return to LJMU when completed. Please note, the application form, must also be counter signed by a Commissioner for Oaths / or Practising Solicitor / or Notary Public, in accordance with the Statutory Declaration Act, 1835 (there is likely to be a charge for this service).
